TaMtAm Club

From the very beginning in 1991, TaMtAm CLUB has been the one and only place in St. Petersburg, where young underground musicians could perform and rehearse.
'Rainbow Army Band' moved in right at the start. Many groups were formed and came out of TaMtAm, such as: Khimera (zaebit core), The Pauki (flibusteres punk), Messer fur Frau Muller (hard core), 'Markscheider Kunst' (mnogo-vrub or multi-insight) and the the popular Dva Samoleta (alt.reggae and African).
CARIBASES and ARCHIVARIUS (both bands play reggae) also started at TaMtAm Club.

Seva Gakkel who started TaMtAm CLUB played his 'green-cello' with 'Aquarium', 'Wine', 'Addis Ababa' etc.
He is popularizing vegetarian and healthy way of life and outdoor activities.
TaMtAm CLUB was a brave venture and it would have continued to be a source of positive vibes were it not for the negative rule of Babylon. The club came under attacks both from the mafia and the authorities. Police frequently broke in searching for drugs. Occasionaly they would come up with a match-box-full of hamp ... Guess what is easy to get in almost all the city clubs? You've guessed it! Chemicals.
TaMtAm used to be a drugs-free musical venue and a saucer-full of talents.
In April '96 TaMtAm ceased to exist :( Kvazi Ltd. took over the club
